About the Baker

Hi! I’m Ashleigh. Baker of all things yummy. I am a work-from-home mom with a passion for baking - especially breads. My daughter has autism and some other medical complexities, which is why I work from home. My husband and a close friend help me run the logistics of my business, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have always had a passion for small business, and love supporting charity.

I started baking as a teenager, but really fell in love with it in my pastries class in Culinary School. I moonlighted as a pastry chef at a small mountain restaurant where I baked 30-50 loaves of bread daily, up to 250 burger buns in a day, various other breads, and, of course, pastries. I left that job to stay home and care for my daughter, and have missed mass baking ever since.

I am certified in safe food handling in Arapahoe County, where I run my bakery from.

10% of every product sold goes to Canine Companions - an organization that provides service dogs free of charge for individuals with disabilities.

Behind the Scenes

Hi! My name is Arielle. Ashleigh and I became fast friends through our kids mutual medical conditions in a parent support group. Our kids hit it off and so did we! I am so excited to help support Ashleigh and her bakery dreams with all the things behind the scenes. My professional experience is in education, having been a high school teacher for 12 years and in the ed tech industry for 2 years. I am a spreadsheet lover which will come in handy supporting all the behind the scene things! I also currently work as a real estate client concierge team member for another dear friend and her real estate business

When not caring for my 2 kids or spending time with my husband I volunteer extensively with Canine Companions and am beyond excited that a portion of all sales will benefit this amazing organization. Canine Companions provided my son an expertly trained service dog and it has been life changing for him. As a way to give back I currently service on the Rocky Mountain Canine Companions Volunteer Chapter Leadership team and am raising a future puppy, Persimmon, as a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions.
